Your project brief
Your assigned business and team
Week 1: Get to know your brief, team & client. Build your 4-week project plan.
Weeks 2–5: Execute the project with your team.
1 per week, for weeks 1–4.
Date and time will vary based on your assigned business.
You’ve taken the courses. You’ve built the "portfolio projects." But still:
“No real business ever gave me feedback.”
“My case study is just made-up stuff.”
“I don’t have proof I can work on a team.”
“I'm sending out applications and hearing nothing.”
This is your first real UX experience — no fluff, no simulations. You’ll work in a team, solve a real problem for a real company, and finally create a case study that proves you’re job-ready.
No interest, no extra fees. Best for: Anyone who wants more financial flexibility.
Pay once, no fuss. Best for: Those who prefer to pay upfront and be done.

Watch NowUX Launchpad is a 5-week, project-based program where you’ll work in a team to solve a real business challenge. You’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and a client-facing case study to add to your portfolio.
UX Launchpad is designed for:
Aspiring UX designers who want their first real-world project
Junior designers looking to level up and gain client experience
Mid- to senior-level designers interested in mentoring, project management, or diversifying their portfolio
We also welcome product designers, researchers, and UI designers who want to strengthen their UX skills.
Plan for 15-20 hours per week. This includes team meetings, client check-ins, research, design work, and presentations. Your exact time may vary depending on your role and team pace.
$175 per month for 4 months = $700 in total. Prices are in US dollars. Payment is due upon registration.
When you register, you’ll complete a short questionnaire about your skills, availability, and interests. We’ll match you with a diverse team to balance skills and experience.
No! We welcome beginners who are committed to learning and contributing. That said, basic familiarity with design tools (like Figma) and a robust UX 101 knowledge is expected to help you make the most of the experience.
Yes — all participants receive a digital certificate of completion, plus your final case study for your portfolio.
We partner with startups, nonprofits, and small to mid-sized companies across different industries. Each project is a real problem the business needs solved — no made-up case studies.
We record all workshops so you can watch later. For team meetings, you are required to attend live, but your team can coordinate asynchronous work if you miss a session.
Teams are not assigned a mentor but can reach out to any of our mentors who can guide you on process, feedback, and professional growth.
Absolutely! The program is fully online. We assign teams based on overlapping time zones. That said, the businesses you will work with are in North America, and you will be expected to adjust your hours to their schedules.
The tools you use will be entirely dependent on your project. Typically, teams use Figma for design, Zoom & Google Meet for meetings, and Discord for communication.
In UX Launchpad, you’ll have more creative ownership, direct business interaction and a shorter, more intense project timeline — all designed to help you grow quickly and create a polished case study.
You’ll leave with:
A completed, real-world UX case study for your portfolio
Business and mentor feedback to strengthen your work
An expanded professional network
Ongoing access to the IterateUX community
This is a team-based program because collaboration is a key part of real-world UX work.
Your team assignments are final. One of the core principles of UX Launchpad is to simulate real-world experience — and in the real world, we don’t get to switch teams when things get tough.
You’ll navigate challenges, communication differences, and collaboration — all things that are incredibly valuable to experience now, in a safe and supportive space.”
That said, if something serious comes up, we’re always here to help.
